All simulation clients are offered hardware options with customized software solutions or generic training solutions over the web. The customized software is written to add and incorporate your company's many complex systems that may already be in operation at the plant or pipeline. Using the simulation software engineers can design process equipment, control systems, and perform debottle necking or 'what-if' studies. Generic simulator training is available over the web for specific commonly used plant units, such as Crude units, Boilers, and Fluidized Catalytic Cracker (FCC) units.
Engineering Workstation
The Engineering Workstation provides the real time graphical presentation of processes and the quantitative effects of any changes, suspected or designed, on the processes. The Engineering Workstation leverages the value of the human engineering resource by providing powerful analysis tools that can produce more certain answers to complex questions and in much less time than usual.
Pipeline Optimization
The optimization for the pipeline provides cost effective operation of the pumping station. It also provides the feature to service users at a minimum cost. The software when interfaced with SCADA systems also provides leak detection during normal operation. Pipeline efficiencies, flows, pressure distribution and horse power required are also incorporated as features to be optimized.
Instructor Workstation
The Instructor Workstation provides the complete PC based functional tool set for an instructor to easily create, maintain and execute process simulation exercises. The complete set of functions allows the instructor to simulate virtually any event of combination conditions that can be encountered by an operator and execute the simulations in a productive and effective manner.
Graphical Model Builder
This feature allows an engineer to effectively and efficiently build a mathematical model of a process, unit, area, or entire plant. Icons representing typical plant components are selected from a pre-built library and positioned on the display via mouse operations. Connectivity, relevant instrumentation and control data are added to process diagram to complete the model.
